She really liked the process -- basically you upload a PDF of the book, decide how much to charge, and you can order an optional ISBN number so that places like Amazon will sell it as well. I think the publishing world is changing, and we'll only see more and more self-publishing options as time goes on. It is the democratization of publishing and literature, pushed by the Internet to a new level. My wife has used Lulu.com to publish her book on journalling (Words With Wings, Volume 1).
