I have talked previously about buying books online but the one problem that I do find is with the shipping. You can find books even on Amazon going for $0.01 depending on when it came out and it’s popularity but you can also find yourself paying $3.50 and more EACH and that is just for the shipping.
It is even worse on Ebay because the seller’s mandate the shipping themselves and as we know not everyone is honest. Before you get giddy with joy at finding that hard to find book and press that buy button. Take a look at everything and pay close attention to the shipping.
That “deal” you thought you just recieved could very well end up costing you twice as much just on the shipping alone. Also when buying new books or books on sale it is best to factor in the shipping and see whether or not you are actually saving money or losing it. Sometimes it’s good to buy that same book offline. You get when it’s purchased and you could save a buck here or there.
