I have been an avid reader since before the age of 5. As I grew up that never changed. I simply began to read more books in different categories. However since I was a young teen I was told that I should be a writer.

This might seem great to be so encouraged, but the problem is I never said anything about being a writer. Everyone seems to assume that I read a lot so I can just hop on a computer and churn out the next bestseller.

They are certainly in for a disappointment. Yes I do write. Short novels for me at the time but it was only a year ago that I decided to try and I’m not really sure if I intend to continue or not. I enjoy reading, not so much with writing the stories.

And it gets annoying when people assume your wasting your life because you won’t do what you want to do. They all think that’s writing.
