All my hard work has finally paid off!
Just today, I received a contract from an agent who wants to represent me and my book. I’m elated. I’ve been bouncing around all day, telling everyone who’ll listen. 
It took piles of query letters, hours of editing my book proposal, and months of waiting–but it’s finally over.
My agent (sounds so strange to say that!) is a member of the Association of Authors’ Representatives (AAR), which I’m happy about, and she’s also recommended at Preditors & Editors, which is reassuring.
Now, as I finish the actual book, she’ll shop it around to various publishers. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
