If you have watched Hellboy, you should know who is Guillermo del Toro. For people who dont, he is a famous spanish film-maker and he has directed Hellboy 1 and 2, Mimic, El Laberinto del Fauno and more… And the most important movie for 2011 Bilbo the Hobbit !!!
Well in spite that this guy has a lot of movies to make, he just signed with William Morrow (Harper Collins editorial) to co-write with the writer Chick Hogan about a vampire trilogy book. It will be his first experience like writer and the story is about a vampire virus which spreads at New York city and to find a cure, main characters will have to go until the origin of the old testament. The first book called The Strain will be available in our favorite bookstore beginning of the summer 2009.
