East

This past summer I had Jury Duty. Luckily I had picked up a few books at the library before I went to court. I like the metaphyical so when I read the description of East on the back of the book, I thought I’d rather enjoy it. I believe it takes place in the Netherlands, but I’m not too sure since the main character used names of places in another language that is not English. I liked that, by the way. For example, France was Franco!

Well, it’s a hard book to describe but basically she rescues a white polar bear that was enchanted. He was once a human being. She falls in love with him however the Troll Queen thinks she loves him as well. The Troll Queen is ugly and cold. Anyway, the main character saves the day and frees the slaves in the Troll Kingdom.

It’s a book for middle schooler (maybe) but I am 26 and enjoyed it. However, I’m also a gal that likes Harry Potter!
