I just finished reading Danielle Steel’s “A Good Woman”. I have to say it was one of those books that once I started reading, could not put down. Immediately you are intrigued by the characters in the story, and you can almost imagine being there amongst them. I think that is what I love most about Danielle Steel’s books..her never failing ability to draw you in to the lives of her characters and what they are going through.
The plot is very good and has quite a bit of history as well intertwined. The backdrops of Steele’s stories are always detailed and historical in nature, which also makes her books such an enjoyable read. And with many of her plots, it is hard to know which way the story will play out, at least far in to the book, as Danielle Steele leaves numerous paths open for the heroine to end up going down. Not to mention the twists and turns that somehow pop up unexpectedly.
I really enjoyed this book, from the first page until the last. I just wish I could read more…it’s as though you are a part of these people’s lives, and you want to continue on following them and seeing how their lives progress once the book itself ends.
