Rogue is another great book by Danielle Steele. It is not my favorite one by Steele, but it certainly was a good read and kept me intrigued all the way through.
Rogue follows the lives of Maxine, a psychiatrist, her children, and ex-husband. Maxine is portrayed as a very successful, pretty and independent woman who has raised her children well while dealing with her divorce from her ex-husband, Blake Williams.
Blake is a handsome and very rich dot com entrepreneur. The reader sees Blake as an irresistible outgoing man who is hard to stay angry at. And though he has given Maxine reason to be resentful, she is not. The two actually share a very amicable relationship post-divorce.
The story follows Maxine through a new relationship, and how it affects her and her kids. It also follows Blake as he falls head over heels in love again also. And of course readers watch vicariously as all the characters, but especially Blake, go through changes in their lives.
Very entertaining and enjoyable to read, Rogue is also one of those books that you hate to reach the end of. I know I would love to be able to keep following these chracters as they evolve and go on with their lives.
