I will say that “Thurston House” by Danielle Steele was not one of my favorite books. It is not that it was not good, but I just prefer some of her other works better.
Jerimiah Thurston longs for a child very bad. He is very very rich and winds up marrying Camille. Camille is much to young for him, but he builds her a grand mansion called “Thurston House”. He pleads for a child, and Camille denies him of it, but then he forces her to. They have a baby girl named Sabrina and Camille resents having her. She leaves Jerimiah, and when Sabrina grows up he tells her that her mom just passed away and she is rarely talked about.
Sabrina’s son Jonathan finds out about her mother and introduces the two of them. Sabrina is devastated after learning her mother never wanted her to begin with and that she really is still alive. Will life go on for Sabrina? I do not want to spoil it for you. You’ll have to read it to find out.
