“A Field Guide to Monsters” is written by Dave Elliott. It is put out by Metro books of New York.
This book contains some great photos. On the cover is Bela Lugosi as Dracula. Open the book and Freddy is staring at you.
Then you find out how to classify monsters. There are the dragons, the werewolves, and the mutated life such as Mothra. Mutated men like the Hulk, manufactured like Robocop, and the supernatural like Hellboy. Gizmo is a monster from the beyond.
Each type of monster has its own section dedicated to it. Learn all about Godzilla, the flying monkeys from the Wizzard of Oz, and the Joker from Batman. Read about leatherface and the persona of Dr. Jekyl and Mr Hyde. You will learn the behavior of each monster, as well as what powers they have. You will read about the vital stats such as height and weight and where they originated from. What do they eat and what is their weakness? This is a great book to add to your monster collection.
