Vampires

I am a huge fan of vampires. They intrigue me for some reason. So I loved the book “Vampires: Encounters with the Undead” by David J. Skal. This book 585 pages long and is put out by Black Dog and Leventhal.
This book contains many great vampire stories. There is “The Adventures of the Sussex Vampire by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, “The Bat is my Brother” by Robert Bloch, and “The True Story of a Vampire” byt Eric, Count Stenbock.
Each story contains commentary by David J. Skal and in the end of the book there is an interview with him. The book also contains pictures in black and white, such as casts of Carmilla, the poster from Taste the blood of Dracula and a picture of Bella Lugosi as Dracula himself.
