For the past few weeks I have been reading my preschoolers the book “Arthur’s Valentine Countdown” by Marc Brown. Arthur is getting ready for Valentine’s day and he needs the children’s help. They will have to help his sister, D.W. find 5 chocolate kisses that are hidden. Then His mom needs help finding 3 roses. Both the kisses and the roses are hidden behind flaps in the books. You will also have to help Arthur with his Valentines. Very cute story for getting ready to celebrate Valentine’s day. Perfect for children as young as 2.
The book is an interactive book that is counting down from 5 to 1. It includes a large punch out valentine and comes with stickers. It is a sturdy board book and retails for $7.99. It is put out by Random House books.
