Buz

“Buz” by Richard Egielski is one of my favorite children’s books. I was only recently introduced to this book and now I am a huge fan. A boy swallows a bug while he is eating his corn flakes. He goes to the doctor where he is given some pills to take to get rid of the bug named Buz. The 2 pills march into the boys mouth and try to find Buz. They look all over and finally find him. It takes a while for them to get rid of Buz, but they finally do. The story ends with Buz going to the doctor because he caught and germ. His doctor in turn will prescribe him some pills.
I thought the pills were so cute in this book. It makes children see how taking medicine if needed can really help them. The illustrations are very cute as well.
This is a Laura Geringer book.
