Twilight Saga Addiction
Posted on February 20, 2009 by Mary Grace Visquera
I love books! No doubt about that. But I was never really into love stories, much more vampire stories. I am most fascinated and addicted to courtroom setting stories, suspense and of course, Harry Potter. Although I have read a few love stories like that of
Danielle Steel’s and Eric Seagal, I was never a fan.
No until the twilight epidemic infected me.
I already saw the book for how many times at the bookstore but I never really bothered to check on it. When the movie came, I was a bit amazed at the chaos the movie brought, and I was of course smitten by the ever gorgeous and hot Robert Pattinson.
That’s when I started to read the first of the four books in the saga:Twilight.
Sleepless nights came just because I cannot stop myself from reading it.
And I understood why most of the girls are really into this. The story is every women’s dream of a love story. The danger of falling inlove to someone who can both protect and destroy you is really something you can just be thrilled about. Edward Cullen was the ideal guy of everyone: someone who you cannot just get that easily. Inhumanely beautiful… who would resist that? Strong, dangerous, protective, rich and absurdly attractive.
Twilight was a story of every girl’s dream. It’s a detailed account of every girl’s subconcious wishes of a boy. That’s why the book and th movie remains to be a craze not only for screaming teenagers, but even moms and married women.
Including me.
