A year of art exploration

If you have preschool age children, a great book to invest in is Jean Warren’s “A year of Art Exploration”. It is illustrated by Barb Tourtillotte.
There are over 140 fun art activities to do it this book. It is 77 pages and is put out by Preschool Express.
I like this book because it covers everything from Apples to Leaves, pumpkins to spiders, wind to rainbows. The book is divided into seasons. Each theme has 4 crafts to do with it.
By doing these crafts, they will stimulate the creativity that children need in their lives at this young age. They will learn problem solving skills as well and learn how to cooperate. They will also be using their small motor skills.
This book is great for rainy days or for weekends. Your preschooler will love you for spending quality time with them that is spent on something useful. The book can be found at www.preschoolexpress.com. You will be able to get your use out of it for years to come as you can often adapt ideas to make them more complex.
