Here is a great book your children will love. “Gross and Annnoying Songs” is by Ken Carder and Tammy Orther. It is a book for all ages. It is put out by Twin Sisters productions.
The book includes a CD that contains 28 songs on it and has 4 sheets of game cards.
There is an adult symbol by each activity if it requires supervision. There are things to make, pranks to play, lots of recipes such as goop, gruesome monster heads, and spider guts, and jokes. The songs have music sheets so if you play the piano, you can use it for the songs. Games are also included, such as an eating contest and soda roulette.
I used this book on a slime and grime unit I did with my preschoolers. We did the lost eyeballs activity where you put marbles in a baggie with some cooked spaghetti. Add some oil and red food coloring, seal the bag and cover with tape. Children feel for the eyeball marbles. They thought this was a great activity, even though it did look pretty gross and disguisitng.
