I love the book “Secrets of the Sea” by Christian Riesse Lassen. It is the perfect book if your preschooler is interested in the ocean or sea life. The book is hardcovered and has a very attractive cover. It is publsihed by the Book Company Publsihing Company.
The book is a pop up book that really comes to life as you flipo through it. It features sea turtles, okras, whales and dolphins at their best. It really lets children see all the wonders of the ocean. It is almost like the sea turtles are hugging you as they come off the page, and the orcas leap off the page towards you as they jump out of the glistening water.
The book has great illustrations that are very realistic. The pages are bright and colorful. Every page is packed full of sea animals and sea life such as the coral and plants on the bottom of the sea. It is like looking through the window of a submarine.
