Winnie the Pooh and the Toy

Winnie the Pooh and Company are back in this cute story called “Winnie the Pooh and the Toy” by Joan Phillips. It is illustrated by Bill Langley and Russel Schroeder and is a Golden Very Easy Reader.
Tigger has a new toy airplane. Pooh wants to ride in it, but Piglet does not want to. Tigger tells Pooh maybe later and instead they go look for pebbles. Roo then sits in a log to pretend to fly and the water takes Roo floating away. Pooh says he will save Roo with the airplane, but he is too big for it. Tiger suggest that Piglet do it, but Piglet at first Piglet does not want too. He decides to do it for Roo and hops in to save the day.
This is a cute story that is great for children who have just started to read. It is a level one for grades K-1. Lots of words are repeated and they are easy words at that.
