Grover’s Own Alphabet

Here is a great book to teach children their alphabet. The book is published by Western Publishing Company and the letters are by Sal Murdocca. This book is a little golden book.
Grover the monster shapes himself into every letter. Also featured are a picture of some things that start with the letter, such as on the letter K Grover is dressed up as a king and there is a key. Or on the A page, grover is holding some apples. the apples are the part that connects the two parts of the A together.
I love the expressions on Grover’s face. He will be sure to make children laugh. Another great idea is to see if your children can make the letters the way that Grover makes them. Some can be quite tricky, but your young ones will enjoy trying and get a kick out of seeing which ones they can master.
Not only will this book teach the ABC’s, it will help children recognize them as well.
