Speed Dating

I recently read the book Speed Dating, by Nancy Warren. It was one of the free downloads Harlequinn is offering through the Amazon Kindle site. So immediately, when I see the title, I assume the main character is going to find love through speed dating, as in attending one of those functions where you speak with every person for five minutes or whatever, to see if you have chemistry.

But it’s not. She actually falls in love with a Nascar driver. She realizes its true love early on but he doesn’t. She is determined to win his heart. What I enjoyed about it is that it wasn’t vulgar, the way many romance novels could be. It was actually sweet. I don’t know if I enjoyed the Nascar details, but it was good the main character grew to love it.

She changed into a more free person and open to love and possibilities for her life. He, in turn, realized he loved her back and turned into a more stable and loving person. I guess the ending was ok.

Since its free, yeah, you should download it. Why not?
