This is probably my favorite DC comics compilation so far. The story is so refreshing and yet gripping enough, you can’t stop reading it again and still can’t get over it. This is where best selling author Brad Meltzer proves that he is now one of the best mystery writer in the world of superheroes. Complementing Meltzer’s writing is the incredibly artistic pair of Rags Morales as penciller and Michael Baer as inker.
So why did you choose to wear a costume and be a superhero? Do you understand the implication if ever the enemies find out who is underneat that costume? Who you are, where you live, who is with you? Will you risk the lives of your family and friends as become targets of your enemies as well? This are the questions raised by Identity Crisis to all believers and non believers alike. Superheroes may have special powers of their own to stop a crime from happening. But some are still human enough with human needs and fear. fear for your own safety. Even superman have lois lane to protect as well. This the very essence of this book.
