Genesis in Bible

Most of us knows that Genesis is about the beginning. Truly but it’s not only about the first man and woman and how God created the world. But it’s also includes the different characters that we often heard. Aside from Adam and Eve, we also hear stories of Cain and Abel, Abraham,Noah, Isaac and Jacob. Abraham is the man that God promise to lead the world. His family will spread and reign different countries. His name is Abram that became Abraham. Sarah is the name of his wife which at first cannot bear a child. But later on, God’s miracle shown when Sarah gave birth to a son.

Jacob is from the family of Abraham. He have a twin brother. He tricked his father to give him the blessing that he liked. Later on, he lead different nations and his name is also called Israel.

During those times, people live for hundred years unlike now. Our life span become shorter. But whatever the reason, it doesn’t matter. What important is we live each day with the graces of God and his teachings.
