Joker’s Wild is a series of books by Lena Matthews. The Call Me book is the first of the trilogy, followed by Three Nights, then Wild Card. The author offered her book for free on Amazon Kindle for about a month or less and that is when I picked it up. I read the entire book and am now glad it was free. It wasn’t even that interesting.

The guy in the book was pretty much a jerk and I can’t believe the author is promoting for women to take back dominating jerks into their lives. I thought it was a stupid book. However, they prelude to the next book in the series which does look more interesting. I got a sample of it on my Kindle to see if I want to continue reading the series.

In reality, I’ve read other “romance” novels more well-written than this one. I’d say if you didn’t already pick up free on your Kindle when it was available, just pass on it. It’s nothing special.
