I am an avid Kindle owner, as well as a writer. I recently started taking advantage of my kindle to help me as a writer and increasing my skills. First of all, someone once told me that the easiest and greatest way to learn how to become a successful writer is to READ. Pick up books, challenge your vocabulary, learn different structures of grammar usage and phrases. Learn from the greatest writers themselves by sampling their works. Emulate their writing style.
But beyond that, you can also use your Kindle for writing in other ways. I write for several clients and online companies. Each place has different requirements and guidelines for their articles. As a writer, I enjoy the freedom of writing anyplace I wish. However, it is not always convenient for me to tote my laptop everywhere. But my kindle is very light! Therefore, I upload documents to my kindle that are labeled “writers guidelines” + the site it comes from. This way I can pull out my kindle anytime, as well as my notepad and get to writing. I later come home and type it up. It’s a really great tool for me, and its free!
