Rachael Ray’s 30-Minute Get Real Meals

Rachael Ray’s TV show called 30-Minute Meals is reflected in her cookbook: Rachael Ray’s 30-Minute Get Real Meals. It has some of her famous recipes from the show, as well as many more. You can find recipes from every meal, from breakfast to dessert and everything in between. What I like about her recipes is that one dish doesn’t complete a meal. So it’s not 30 minutes per meal, its 30 minutes, total, for the entire meal, including all the dishes.

Her recipes are easy to follow and she uses everyday ingredients, which makes it nice. She’s not one of those chefs that tells you to buy saffron and cow’s tongue. You can use something like crusty bread for dumplings or melon in your fridge for a dessert sauce. I’m always surprised how easy these meals are to make.

I’ve bookmarked my favorites in her cookbook and come back to these when I’m in a bind for dinner and just need to make something really quick.
