Nora Roberts

One of my favorite authors is Nora Roberts. She has written so many books it is hard to keep count of them all, and it does not help that she is constantly whipping out more every time I turn around. All the characters that she creates are interesting, even the small characters that do not seem to matter get something more than a cardboard cut out personality. All the plot lines that she has are also interesting and great to read. The best thing about her mystery plots are that you are able to follow along with the main character and figure out who the villian is. Even if you don’t figure out the villian in time, you can go back and see where that person makes sense and messed up so that the main character could figure it out. The romantic love scenes that she has in her books are also well written and not disgustingly explicit, like some authors can be. Each couple fits well together and it makes sense that those two characters are the characters who have hooked up. Every book that she writes is a romance with a sex scene somewhere between the pages, so if you are not into that sort of thing, do not pick it up.
