Scott Westerfeld

Scott Westerfeld has become one of my favorite authors recently. I have read almost all the books that he has published now and have enjoyed every single one of them. He has a broad range of writing abilities and I love his style. He is able to make you think about things you would not normally think about. One of his books is about fashion and how the fashion industry could operate and how that could actually be bad for the people who come up with new ideas regarding style. He has also written a couple books about vampires. His aren’t the sparkly kind of vampires, like some people…who shall remain nameless…but the more deadly kind. These two books even involve the wyrm. He has also written a series about a society that exists far into the future after modern society has collapsed to oil being extinct. It is fascinating to me to read anything that Scott Westerfeld has written. I love everything I’ve read by him. The last thing that I have read of his work is a series about a group of kids who are able to live during an hour of time that no one else does. It is once again an interesting idea.
